A new High Sheriff of Powys was sworn into the prestigious role at a ceremony held in Presteigne last week.
Mrs Susan Thompson from Kinnerton was installed as High Sheriff last Friday (April 21) at the Judge’s Lodgings and takes over from the outgoing High Sheriff, Mrs Ann Tudor from Llanerfyl.
