A fresh attempt is being made to elect a county councillor for a ward in Powys where no-one wanted to stand.
The rural seat of Yscir, near Brecon, remained vacant at last Thursday's local elections as Gillian Thomas stepped down after 27 years' service.
Nominations open next Tuesday and close on 25 May.
Nomination forms can be obtained from the Returning Officer at County Hall, Llandrindod Wells or by calling 01597 826747.
Nomination papers must be delivered in person to County Hall not later than 4pm on Thursday May 25, 2017.
If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday June 22, 2017.
Electors wanting to vote by post must have their postal application form to the Electoral Registration Officer at County Hall, Llandrindod Wells by Wednesday June 7, 2017
Applications to vote by proxy must be made by 5pm on Wednesday June 14, 2017.
