Dear Matthew ,
It's always good to talk and Liz Pritchard is right - generosity breeds generosity and we should be able to have amicable conversations about matters that affect us all in this amazing area and town of which we are all proud .
I'm going to be doing a lot of good work this year for Brecon including a new Park and Ride system starting at Easter which will benefit the economy and I'm hopefully going to be involved in not only redesigning Captains walk after "Y gaer " is built but am also going to look at a brand new signage system for the entire town .
That possibility of "free " parking utilising the 2nd ticket financed by the Town council or chamber of trade is also still on the table as is using the car parks for Night Markets in the future and I have already asked my officers about next years Christmas lights and closing the streets after last years brilliant Joanna Lumley event
So all in all - I'm working really hard for Brecon - and will continue to do so . I'm standing up in Cabinet for my community as well and its principal town - which is Brecon which I think has been ignored for too long !
I am genuinely sorry that you are upset. I would gladly have helped you if you had contacted me before you made your "political " video asking for signatures on a petition - after all we bump into each other virtually every second day. ( You may remember talking about street lights on christmas eve at 3 pm in the Coop !)
I have nothing but goodwill towards you, Matthew. If you still wish to make a complaint about me that's up to you, but I think it would be much more constructive to work together to make Brecon an even better place for our community.
I look forward to hearing from you on how we can work together
