The Friends of the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh has made a promotional film with narration by BBC wildlife star Chris Packham.
Chris was approached by the museum to do the voiceover after learning of his keen interest in the Anglo Zulu wars. The TV personality won Celebrity Mastermind in 2011 answering questions on the Battle Of Rorke’s Drift.
Dorcas Cresswell from the Friends of the Regimental Museum said: “Chris was the perfect choice to do the narration on our film. He’s very knowlegable about the Zulus and of course he has an instantly recognisable voice. And he was happy to help us out without charging a fee!”
In October of last year, Packham made a documentary about his experience as a ‘high-functioning person with Asperger’s’ – Chris Packham: Asperger’s amd Me and subsequently became the Ambassador for the National Autistic Society.
The promotional film will be used on social media and the museum’s website (www.royalwelsh.org.uk) to boost visitor numbers to the Watton attraction.
