This popular Makers Market, curated by Emma Bevan, returns on Sunday, bringing you a host of unique and affordable artisan gifts - art, craft and food - for you to treat yourself or a friend. You can also visit the cafe run by Usk House, which helps raise valuable funds for their work.
You will find homemade fudge and Welshcakes; traditional woodturning; textile art; paintings, prints, and books by local author and artists; needle felted sculptures, handcrafted jewellery, exquisite glasswork, illustrations and handmade natural skin products... vintage cloth, or crocheted creatures - there is always a range of items and prices to suit everyone.
Emma is a member of the Brecon Womens Festival and this event for their festival has this new date, as the original was postponed by the snow!
There’s an open mic running all day too, so if you fancy joining the other local musicians and have your turn on stage, please contact Emma at emma.events9@gmail.com
This is free entry, runs from 10 - 4, and is not to be missed, so we’ll see you there!
