Liberal Democrat candidate Jane Dodds (pictured above in the middle with AM Kirsty Williams on the right) is the new Member of Parliament for Brecon and Radnorshire. In the by-election on Thursday August 1, the Lib Dems won the seat with just 1425 votes more than Conservative Chris Davies. The Brexit Party polled nearly 3,500 votes while Labour struggled. However, at the Llanelwedd count, it was the Monster Raving Loony Party that stole the show.
