St. John's Centre is looking for volunteers to help with two projects.
We need a chef (or two!) for our weekly luncheon club for the over 50s. This would be once a month on a Monday. Our marvellous chefs provide a home-made, two-course meal for up to 16 people. Chefs need to be familiar with catering for this number on a limited budget. The club prefers traditional, British food.
We need helpers for our Kids Kitchen cooking club. This would be either once or twice a month on Wednesdays after school. We cook a simple recipe and learn about nutrition.
All volunteers need a DBS and preferable a level 2 kitchen safety certificate, both of which we will pay for. We are now also able to repay fuel costs etc for volunteers.
If you would like to get involved, please contact St. John's Centre on 01874 611723 option 1, or stjohns@faithinfamilies.wales
