Wales’s first ever Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing Eluned Morgan will be the very special guest speaker at this year’s Tudor Watkins Memorial Lecture.
Eluned, who represents Powys in the Welsh Parliament, will talk about her new role, the importance of good mental health and what the Welsh Government is doing to support mental wellbeing during the Coronavirus pandemic.
There will also be the opportunity for discussion and the sharing of good ideas about maintaining wellbeing during these challenging times.
The event, organised by Brecon Labour Party, will be free of charge but attendees are asked to register in advance and if able make a donation to Brecon and District Mind, the local mental health charity which has supported Brecon residents throughout the pandemic.
The event series, held in the memory of much-loved former local MP Tudor Watkins, has been renamed as ‘Siarad’ – highlighting the importance of conversation in wellbeing.
THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON ZOOM AND A LINK WILL BE SENT TO ALL PARTICIPANTS ON WEDNESDAY 2 DECEMBER 2020.
