Brecon Indoor Market is a traditional table market which is held on Tuesdays and Fridays. Not all of our traders are selling what would be considered to be 'traditional;' market goods however.
Ula is with us every second Friday of the month and she is a Forever Living distributor selling what she describes as high quality, natural, aloe vera based health and wellbeing products for all your family needs.

Ula is Polish and she has been in Wales since she was twenty two. She did a BA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Poland but wasn't sure what she wanted to do after this so she came to Wales to live with 4 other European volunteers for a year and help in local community projects – she met her Welsh partner within the first month of her stay here and decided to stay in Wales after her one year volunteering finished.
Ula had been offered a place at the Metropolitan University in London to study for an MA in translations but she decided to do an MA in Swansea Uni in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) instead to be close to her partner.
Ula has been working for Merthyr council for the past nine years, firstly as a youth worker and for the last 4 years as a family Support Worker supporting challenging young people and vulnerable families - She says she likes being busy so always has many things on the go at the same time - She has been doing freelance translations for local organisations for the past 4 years and also gained a driving licence for minibus and LGV because an opportunity came up.
Ula started her venture with Forever Living products in July 2015 because she was looking for a new challenge and wanted to start a career which she could do from anywhere in the world and around her children once she “decides to settle down”. She says she is very passionate about Forever products because they have helped her deal with her autoimmune condition in a natural way (she doesn't believe in popping pills for everything) and she loves seeing how the products help other people feel and look better. She loves that the company cares about the quality of their products (hence a generous 60 day money back guarantee) and that they do not test on animals. Ula says that she loves coaching other people in her team so that they may achieve their goals.
Ula is now planning to take her business on the road as she are planning to go travelling with her partner across Asia and Australia later this year while building her business from her laptop.
Ula's hobbies include: travelling, learning new languages (she can communicate in French and Spanish and some basic phrases in many languages - whenever she visits a country Ula tries to learn some local phrases). She is also keen on extreme sports including parachuting (the best thing she's ever experienced), snowboarding, salsa dancing and sailing.
