Illumine is a digital arts project run by Peak in partnership with Powys County Council throughout 2018.
We are recruiting 12 young people to become ‘Image Makers’ and reimagine the Brecon Beacons and wider area through a range of digital media. Working alongside professional artists and creative industry professionals, the ‘Image Makers’ will create new and original digital content that will be shared across a range of platforms including display at Y Gaer, Brecon’s new cultural hub, opening Autumn 2018.
Illumine training commences in Spring 2018, and is a year-long project comprised of workshops, masterclasses, residencies, studio visits and location shoots. Subsistence bursaries to cover travel, food and surplus materials of up to £500 per participant are available.
