Brecon Town Council is pleased to announce that it will be opening a new Visit Brecon Office in Lion Yard, Brecon.
Brecon Town Council is currently recruiting for a full time Visit Brecon Manager post (appointment to be confirmed), with the aim of developing a face to face visitor presence along with the development of a volunteers programme to assist in the marketing of Brecon as a visitor destination.
The Visit Brecon Manager will also ensure that visitors to the office will receive key information to enable visitors and residents to enjoy Brecon and the surrounding community its Arts & Crafts, Entertainments, localised walks and our history.
Brecon Town Council, through this initiative, is committed to support the local economy, businesses, and the Chamber of Trade in making Brecon an exciting visitor destination.
Brecon Town Council welcomes the support offered from various groups including the Brecknock History Society & Brecon Beacons Tourism.
The Council also looks forward to working with all stakeholders including localised businesses, Powys County Council, other Town & Community Councils, members of the public and interest groups to make VISIT BRECON a success.
