Excitement is already building as the 20th annual Brecon Beacons Food Festival approaches. Crowds are expected to flock to Brecon’s Market Hall on Saturday 6th October to enjoy delicious food and drink from over 60 local producers.
Event organiser, Andrew Powell said:
“This year Brecon Beacons Food Festival will be celebrating its 20th year of bringing together the best, mouth-wateringly good food and drink producers in and around the Brecon Beacons National Park and thousands of visitors from far and wide.
“The event is free to attend and offers a perfect day out for the whole family. We are fully booked for exhibitors already. We also have a great range of live demonstrations from celebrity and award-winning chefs and entertainment throughout the day. We already have big names booked including local stars and celebrity chefs. Visit our website or Facebook page for regular updates.”
“The event is managed through a ‘not for profit’ approach and any surplus revenue is used for future events. I would like to say a big thank you to this year’s sponsors including Castell Howell, Brecon Chamber of Trade, Brecon Milk, Old Railway Line Garden Centre, Llanfaes Dairy, Young’s of Brecon, Welsh Country, Brecon Foods and Morgan’s Family Butchers who have contributed vital funds and time to ensure the event continues for another year. If any other local businesses would like to support the event please feel free to get in touch.”
