From my first 5K to training for a 100 mile ultra marathon, running has taught me how to stay focused and to set goals.
With that focus, along with the teamwork of rowing and rugby, I set out to become the first war crimes investigator based in Cornwall.
I’ll be talking about how my experiences in the refugee camps and coordinating medical aid started me on a journey, not just to help others but to find my own purpose in life.
Tickets for this event are £5 each and there will be a questions and answers session after the talk.
Feel free to join me in afterwards for a more informal conversation and a pint.
