Yoga in Bwlch - Autumn Special 2018
The YIN & YANG YOGA workshop series continues on Wednesday 31st October, by popular request. With a YIN programme to support and stimulate internal organs and a YANG sequence for the legs, it's a practice to both de-tox and strengthen our bodies, while bringing rest and release to mind and spirit.
Fallen leaves -
Raking,
Yet not raking. TAIGI
The first part of the workshop is an introduction to Yin yoga. We follow 3 principles: coming into the pose to a depth that is appropriate for you; resolving to remain still; holding the pose for time. The pace is slow.
The second part of the workshop is a Yang practice. This is more active, dynamic and energising with a sequence to take home. We'll end with pranayama (the formal practice of controlling the breath, which is the source of our prana, or vital life force) and relaxation; leaving mind, spirit and body refreshed and replenished.
Everyone is welcome. I teach in a compassionate and progressive way with plenty of options for people taking part. I'm a British Wheel of Yoga teacher and there's more information at our website www.musicandthemuse.com/yoga
