Join us on 3 February at 11.00am for our annual Candlemas Service. This year, it will be followed by a King Cake Contest. A King Cake is a traditional Epiphany cake that was eaten on Candlemas. It's like a brioche with icing. People are invited to bake their own version of it. Winner will get a lovely beeswax candle.
Everyone who comes will get a chance to taste the cakes. There'll be finger food and American mulled cider too.
Sign-up sheet in the Cathedral. Donations at the contest will be collected for the Brecom Women's Refuge. More stories
