Rag-rug Spring Wreath Saturday:

“Join me for the day, where we will be making a rag rug spring-themed wreath. Using the traditional proddy rag rug technique, I will show you how to upcycle textiles into an attractive Spring decoration.
Suitable for beginners, tutor Bridget Morgan.
Make your own bug from scrap metals (choose from one of four 1.5 hr sessions on Saturday):
A creative metalworking session for kids aged 8-16.
Make your own characterful bug from scrap metal and rivets, and decorate it with recycled materials.
Tools used include: hammer, punch, drill, rivet-gun
Willow weave a tray (2xhalf day sessions), Saturday:
Spend a morning or afternoon weaving a wonderful willow tray, with experienced tutor Sarah Adby.
This will be a wonderful session,and you’ll have a practical yet stunning tray for your home.
All materials and tools provided.
Needle-felt a Hare or Bear, Sunday:
Emma Bevan will be offering one of her most popular workshops, in which you will be learning or developing your needle felting skills. Working with native fleece and barbed needles, and learning about core wool and amarture methods, you will be guided through the relaxing process of sculpting and creating with wool, and taking home your completed project of either a hare or a bear. All materials and resources will be prorvided , you are also welcome to bring along any photos to work from.
Botanical perfume/aftershave/beard oil workshop, Sunday:
Adele Nozedar is not only a a forager, dealing with edible plants, but is also fascinated by the perfumes that can be created from plant-based matter, too, so she started experimenting with pure essential plant oils, learning as much as she could, and making perfumes for everyone, plus beard oils and aftershaves.
Join Adele on her workshop in the morning, and take away your own signature fragrance, carefully blended, by you, to match your personality. You start with a short forage (weather permitting) to explore the world of fragrant plants, then spend the next hour or so playing with the fragrances and learning about critical balance of aromas.
Willow weave a basket, Sunday:
Make a beautiful willow basket with rustic handle, with experienced tutor Sarah Adby.
This will be a fantastic day and you’ll have a beautiful basket to take home!
All materials are locally sourced, and tools are provided.
Botanical Gin-Making: (this is 18+!)
Adele Nozedar, successful author and expert forager, will be with us in the afternoon, for a forage and gin-making workshop.
After a short stroll to collect delicious and edible hedgerow bounty we will return to the Globe for an informative and fun gin-making session. Using some of the flowers and plants you've discovered and picked you can create your very own blend of botanical gin to take home in a 300ml jar.
